Another swimmer training for the 2010 Central American Games in Puerto Rico.

Ashley Bransford is from Aruba and breaststroke is her main event. Ashley was at 2009 World Swimming Championship in Rome last year and is competing this week at CISC in Cuba. Next month she will be on the largest group from Davie going to Mayaguez for the 2010 CAC.

Papiamentu is the official language of Aruba and is a mix of Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, English, French, and it also has some Arawak Indian and African influences. Papiamentu is one of the few Creole Languages of the Caribbean that has survived to the present day.
