Alina Schulhofer won the 200 freestyle at Austrian Junior Nationals this past weekend. Even suffering a very hard cold, Alina survived and overcome to win the event. Congrats Alina!

The New Davie Nadadores Age groupers swam 42 new personal best times at the Junior Olympics.

Iyanla Jackson(YaYa) had two best times and competed in her first Junior Olympics. Amani McFarlane had 4 best times and placed 2nd overall in the 50 free for 10 and under boys. Kyra Mcfarlane had 2 best times while competing in her first Long course Junior Olympics. Aliyah Wakeland had 6 best times and placed 5th overall in the 50 free and placed 6th overall in 50 breast in 11 -12 girls. Tristan Celestin had 4 best times and place 3rd in 50 breast, 7th in the 100 and 200 breast in 11 - 12 boys. Kearn Kurbanali had 4 best times and placed 8th overall in the 50 free in 11 -12 boys. Zoie Balthazar had 3 best times and place 2nd overall in the 100 free, 3rd overall in the 50 free and 4th overall in the 200 free in 13 - 14 girls. Marie Borrelli had 2 best times despite having swimmers ear and a injured arm ....she will be ready for Winter Champs! Daniella Veloza had 4 best times and place 6th overall in the 200 free, and placed 7th overall in the 400 free and 100 free in 13 -14 girls. Kerron Kurbanali broke 30 secs for the first time in 50 free and displayed a great attitude over the weekend. Katana Sato had 6 best times and place 5th overall in 200 back and 200 i.m and 6th overall in 100 fly in 13 -14 boys.

The age group team is headed in the right direction.The future looks very bright.

The Davie Nadadores Age groupers swim 35 new personal best times.

Esteban Velasquez dropped over 10 seconds in the 200 Backstroke and finished seventh.Gabriel Perez was the only 13 year old to final in the 50 free (27.15).Laryssa Bedley finished 7th in the 50 breaststroke and dropped over 9 seconds in her 200 Breaststroke.Kristina Figueroa dropped over 11 seconds in the 400 free,3 seconds in the 200 free,and 2 more seconds in the 100 free.Annabella Lyn dropped over 7 seconds in the 200 IM and 2 seconds in the 50 fly.Evy Sands improved a half of second in the 50 free (30.45) and one second in her 200 Backstroke.Matt Lyn improved over 5 seconds in the 200 free and 7 seconds in the 200 IM.Laryssa Bedley and Gabriel Perez qualified as alternates in 2 different events.The age group team is headed in the right direction.The future looks very bright.
